These are some of my favorites...I guess we can call them "Belly Rebekah" instead of "Baby Rebekah"! hahaha

7 Months and Counting...

Rebekah is growing bigger and bigger each day now...I am grateful that Lynette wanted to take pictures of my belly. I love feeling Rebekah move and can't help but wonder now what she looks like. There is nothing like having a baby grow inside of me. I am so grateful for this great blessing and thank Heavenly Father for it always. I know that not everyone gets this experience and it breaks my heart. I am grateful for that though because it has helped me to spend this pregnancy focusing on the wonderful experience instead of complaining about the hard parts. I think the hardest part now is the pain in my back and side and know that I will have to return to work.

We FINALLY made it to NAUVOO!!

Ryan and I had never been to Nauvoo before and we both really wanted to go. Mama and Daddy decided that they were going to go so they could see Louise and her kids so we asked if we could tag along. What a great time! We hauled ourselves there with the pop-up trailer on the back of the Montero. It took a long time to finally get there and then it rained most of the time. But we had a great time. We saw a few free shows and went to the Nauvoo temple to do baptisms for the dead and an endowment session. While we were there, we saw a few old friends and even met Sister Hughes that used to be in the General Relief Society Presidency.

Disgusting!!

We saw this car in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Iowa...it is FULL of garbage! I could only imagine how the stench must be in that car. EW! It makes me want to clean out!

Our Baby's First Photo...with Ryan's Help

We were very excited to see our baby in the first ultrasound. We waited and waited and waited...it seemed to take forever to get to our appointment and then...they wanted to reschedule because the doctor was out! UGH! Well, considering how things were baby-wise in our family, I was totally freaking out. I just wanted to know if the baby was real and growing. I told the receptionist about my sister, Lisa's, recent experiences and they said they would take us back and just take a look and listen. Funny how the nurse/doctor can tell that that is a baby and all it looks like to us is a tiny moving blob! Ryan took the ultrasound picture, scanned it, then added his interpretation of what the nurse told us about what was what on the baby...hope you like it!

Checking In...since I am sitting in bed with nothing to do!

Ryan and I are trying to figure out our life right now. Life decisions never end! We, mostly me, don't want to live in Hyrum anymore...but because we moved here on feelings of revelation and inspiration, we want to make sure we have completed or learned whatever we were supposed to. I finally finished my first year of teaching. WHOA! That was a trip and a half. Hopefully next year is a little easier. On the other hand, I am thinking with the new blessing coming it will be difficult in other ways. Ryan has been accepted to the part-time MBA program at USU!!! YAY! He worked really hard to get into that and we are very proud of him. We are also looking for a better job for Ryan...any ideas? He has a Bachelor's degree in both Economics and Human Resource Management. Now he just needs some experience and he will be good to go!

Health Days

Health Days is a great Smithfield tradition. Since Ryan and I are both Smithfield-ites, we just had to go. They changed the location this year to Forrester Acres for the fair. We thought it was great! We got to park at Mom and Dad Christensen's house and just walk across the street! :) We saw a few old friends and ate some great food! And did I mention...we were pregnant but didn't know it yet!
